"The host of St Gallen Haus was very warm and helpful. The location is up in the hill of Batan and I loved the view from my bedroom. The house was clean, and the kitchen was useful. The room does not include breakfast. There are little tiendas nearby to get the basics that you might need, plus there are a couple of restaurants, including the gyros place right downstairs. There is a very friendly atmosphere among the residents who are mostly young people working as teachers. There are tables and chairs out on the patios, so you can sit outside and enjoy the view. I can recommend St Gallen Haus."

"The apartment, St. Gallen PB Suite, was comfortable, clean and adequately appointed. The neighbors were friendly. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful -- he's a great host. When our 11 p.m. plane was late and the airport crowded, he waited two hours in the throng to pick us up, take us to the apartment and get us oriented. He had already provided cereal, milk and some snack cakes so that we could have a little breakfast before our first excursion into Quito. The apartment provides easy access to the huge Parque Metropolitano, and it is possible to walk to Parque Carolina, Quicentro mall, Mercado Iñiquitos, and even La Mariscal and Old Town."

"I can warmly recommend this place! And especially if you stay for a longer time in Quito (which I definitely recommend you to do!). There are some nice common areas and a terrace on the rooftop with an amazing view. The house is located in a good neighborhood and right next to a very big park. The manager is a really good host! He is very friendly and solves possible problems immediately. He also was a big help for me, for example with calling for taxis or taking me to a doctor when needed. I stayed for almost two months and this place really felt like my home, I did not want to leave!."
